When we scrap a vehicle we issue a Certificate of Destruction (COD) which verifies that a vehicle has been disposed of and destroyed in line with regulations. This confirms to the DVLA that the owner has followed all guidelines but also gives peace of mind to our customers that their vehicle has been disposed of in a safe way with the removal of potentially hazardous materials from the vehicle and that, where possible, parts have been recycled or recovered.
